- Bathtub — 36 gallons
- Toilet — 1.6 to 6 gallons per flush
- Brushing Teeth With Water Running — 5 gallons
- 3/4 " Garden Hose — 5 gallons a minute
- Sprinkler — 3 to 5 gallons a minute
Here is an activity you can do at home...print out a Water Use Log and record your water use from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed - you will be surprised how much water you use in one day!
