IMPORTANT NOTICE:
As you may know, the North Wales Water Authority has provided a supplemental bulk (wholesale) water supply to the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority (HWSA) for many years. After passing through the metering stations, the water we supply becomes the property of the HWSA. It then flows through the Horsham water system to homes, businesses, and for emergency fire service in your community.

Most recently, at the request of the HWSA, we have agreed to provide additional services, including operational services, such as hydrant and valve repairs, leak detection assistance, as well as emergency response crews to assist HWSA during main breaks and other conditions. We will eventually be offering additional services, including items such as water meter installations, and routine system maintenance. At all times, this work will be done at HWSA’s direction and supervision. We expect these services to commence in late summer or fall of 2019.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD CONTINUE TO CONTACT THE HWSA BUSINESS OFFICE AT (215) 672-8011 FOR ALL ROUTINE INQUIRIES, WATER SERVICES, AND FOR ANY BILLING ISSUES. YOU SHOULD ALSO CONTINUE TO CALL THE HWSA AT (215) 781-7454 FOR ALL EMERGENCY SERVICES. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OUR OFFICES OR EMERGENCY NUMBERS FOR THESE MATTERS AS IT WILL LIKELY DELAY THE ACTUAL RESPONSE TIME TO YOUR ISSUE.
The reason for the above is that many times, the HWSA will be able to quickly address any inquiry or issue of concern to a Horsham customer, without our assistance. Secondly, to avoid confusion and communication errors, we can only accept direction and receive requests for services directly from the HWSA office, and then only from authorized individuals. Ultimately, this policy will help ensure efficient service, and cost savings to the HWSA and its customers.
